  • Off-Road Enduro Tours

    Our Off-Road Enduro Tours are ridden on KTM 500s and are designed for experienced off-road riders. Participants must have solid off-road riding experience, good throttle and clutch control, and be confident riding in a variety of challenging terrain. These tours are physically demanding and are best suited to riders with extensive time spent off-road.

    Adventure Bike Tours

    Our Adventure Bike Tours are ridden on the Yamaha Ténéré 700 and are ideal for riders with intermediate riding experience. These tours follow gravel roads and scenic routes, with no technical off-road riding, making them perfect for those looking to enjoy adventure riding without tackling difficult terrain.

  • A private or custom tour is designed exclusively for your group and tailored to your riding ability, preferences, and travel goals. You can customise the tour duration, riding terrain, daily distances, accommodation style (camping, lodges, or luxury stays), and even include specific destinations or activities you'd like to experience.

    Every aspect of the tour is planned around your group, creating a truly personalised motorcycle adventure.

  • Adventure Bike Tours

    When booking your flights, please ensure you arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH), Windhoek, as this is where your tour will begin. The airport is approximately a 45-minute drive from the city centre.

    Off-Road Bike Tours

    When booking your flights, please ensure you arrive at Walvis Bay International Airport (WVB), as this is where your tour will begin. The airport is approximately a 15-minute drive from the town centre.

  • A valid motorcycle licence is required for all Untamed Africa Tours, including our off-road tours. Your licence must be valid in your home country and permit you to ride the engine capacity of the motorcycle used on your tour.

    If your motorcycle licence is issued in English, you do not require an International Driving Permit (IDP). If your licence is not issued in English, you will need to obtain a valid International Driving Permit before travelling.

    As entry and licensing requirements can change, we recommend contacting the relevant authorities or foreign affairs office in your home country to confirm the latest requirements before your trip.

  • It is compulsory for all riders to have comprehensive travel insurance for the duration of the tour. Your policy must include medical cover as well as emergency medical evacuation.

    Each participant is responsible for arranging suitable travel insurance that meets their personal medical and travel requirements.

    We highly recommend Global Rescue for emergency medical evacuation and travel assistance, as it provides excellent support for remote adventure travel.

    Please contact your medical aid or travel insurance provider to ensure your policy offers adequate cover before travelling.

  • Our Adventure Tours are fully supported by 4x4 support vehicles carrying your luggage, spare parts, tools, and other essential equipment, allowing you to enjoy the ride without worrying about your gear. Each rider is provided with a Mosko Moto tank bag for personal items needed during the day. We also recommend bringing a backpack or CamelBak for water and any additional essentials.

    For riders seeking a more adventurous experience, we also offer custom unsupported tours. On these tours, your essential luggage is carried on your motorcycle, providing a more self-sufficient and expedition-style adventure.

  • Each night's accommodation is carefully selected to complement the route and provide a unique experience in some of the most remote and spectacular locations.

    Our tours typically make use of 3- and 4-star lodges and hotels, chosen for their comfort, hospitality, and authentic atmosphere.
